Lasting impact is rarely achieved alone. Progress in our quest for a cure is built on strong, values-aligned partnerships that endure over time.
We are proud to celebrate the continued support of the ATC Foundation through grant funding for the Project Spark ‘Get a Grip’ neurostimulation clinical trial, which aims to improve hand, arm, and respiratory function for quadriplegics.

For many years, SpinalCure and the ATC Foundation have been united by a shared purpose: accelerating research that has the potential to restore function and independence.
The ATC Foundation’s recent donation toward the ‘Get a Grip’ clinical trial is a powerful example of what trusted partnerships make possible, and for that we are deeply grateful.
“Horse racing, recognised as one of the most dangerous sports worldwide, has shown me firsthand the importance of supporting SpinalCure.” Chair of the ATC Foundation, Angela-Belle McSweeney.
There are more than 21,000 Australians living with spinal cord injury, many of whom face lifelong challenges and participation in everyday life. Among them is the jockey community, where the risk of spinal injury is an ever-present reality. Through our partnership with the ATC Foundation, SpinalCure is proud to be conducting research that speaks directly to this community, offering not only hope, but reassurance that work is underway to improve treatment options and long-term outcomes.

The ATC Foundation’s continued support enables SpinalCure to pursue research that is ambitious, collaborative, and focused on outcomes that matter most to people living with spinal cord injury.
We are deeply grateful to the ATC Foundation for standing alongside us over many years and for their ongoing belief in the importance of cure-focused research. It’s through partnerships like this that real progress becomes possible and lives are transformed.
